We are excited about our move to a new area! After the moving dust settles, Elegant Forever will be located in the historic village center of Adamstown, Maryland, just south of Frederick. For nearly 15 years we have offered wedding gowns, wedding accessories and coordination services to brides throughout the DC Metro area. As a small, home-based business, we are excited about the flexibility we’ll have working from our historic home office in Adamstown. And we’ll continue to be the bridal boutique for the beautiful and practical bride! We’ll keep everyone posted on our progress and we look forward to the Spring 2013 wedding season! It’s interesting to note the number of wedding event locations around Maryland’s small towns. They really do present a good comprise between location and cost. One such gem is up in Tanytown, Maryland. Just 15 miles from Gettysburg, the Antrim 1884 is a nicely restored site located on 24 acres.

A reminder that a couple DC area bridal shows are in September. Check the Great Bridal Show Expo website for details. Today’s (September 9, 2012) show was in Alexandria, VA and September 16, 2012 is in Baltimore. Then the show heads to New York on September 18, 2012.

During a recent weekend we came across the Hill Chapel in Historic New Market, MD. The owners purchased the 1867 church to offer non-denominational services. The Hill Chapel can accommodate up to 120 guests and there are nice options for reception events right in town.
