As some of you know, various family priorities have meant our business is on a bit of a hiatus. For more than 10 years Elegant Forever has been a wonderful endeavor. But, at times, other family needs – such as children – have been the priority. That is the case in recent months. So, for now and for coming months, things are on hold. We apologize for any inconvenience (and any unanswered emails). We’ll try to answer emails where possible and we are happy to provide recommendations. We continue to wish all our customers a happy and loving marriage!

This is a wonderful time of year with Thanksgiving in full swing and Christmas and Hanukkah around the corner. It is often a slow time for weddings given all the attention to the holidays. But News Years is also around the corner and that means the Spring 2010 bridal shows won’t be far behind. In fact, the Richmond Bridal Showcase is on January 10, 2010 and the Washington Bridal Showcase on January 17, 2010 – so you can already be thinking about new styles while you carve your Turkey!

We all feel the impact of the economy. But those invitations to events don’t stop because the economy is bad. Our family recently attended and our daughters were participated in a Quinceañera for a close friends. What a beautiful event. But, in some ways, it was not unlike any other event where we found ourselves out shopping for dresses, shoes, alterations, and a hair stylist.
